Marie Chambers Exhibition
Washington Wetlands Trust
1st November - 1st December 2012
Marie's work is a celebration of birds in their natural environment.
Her attention to detail and ability to capture a scene make for
astounding photographs. This exhibition will showcase her
spectacular work.
'After months of depression and not going out or doing photography, I asked
my friend to take me to the local wetland centre in Washington. From that
moment I was addicted to going as there was so much to see and so many birds
I had never seen before.
I got myself a one year membership and by the second month I had been 18 times.
One year on and after printing and framing my images on the advice from people in the art room, I managed to get the courage to ask the staff at the wetland centre if I could exhibit my work.
After months of missing the person in charge of the displays and exhibit areas I managed to secure a date to display my images. This has boosted my confidence a bit as I don't usually think my work is good enough to show.
So thanks to Washington wetlands and the NAGAS art studio I now have my date and work framed ready to show.
This has helped my so much and I hope I can continue doing.'
